The animal specimens on display include not only national category I and II protected animals, but also many precious specimens from different countries.

The Animals-The Friends of Humankind takes the theory of evolution as the mainline, showing the evolutionary process of animals from the simple to the complex, from the primitive to the more advanced forms of life, and the dioramas of various animals living in the corresponding ecological environment. The taxidermy work of these precious animal specimens in the exhibition is worthwhile to mention. It vividly reproduces the posture and appearance of the animals as they were alive.

The exhibition has also designed many interactive items. Through different interesting games, visitors can subtly learn more about animals and the contributions of animals to the survival and development of human beings, such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, architectural bionics, cultural creativity, religious beliefs, etc., all demonstrating the interdependence between animals and humans. The theme of the exhibition serves undoubtedly to remind us that we shall pay more attention to animal welfare and we have the responsibility to protect them.
